About Program
Spend 3 weeks this May studying Wine Marketing abroad in Florence, Italy! Earn 3 semester credits through a Wine Marketing course taught in English through Fairfield University
Stay in a double room in a hotel in the Barolo region for one week and in apartments for two weeks. Breakfast and lunch are included at the hotel and 14 vouchers for breakfast and dinner are included while in Florence.
The first week, with the collaboration and hospitality of the Wine Bank and Slow Food’s Slow Wine, classes are taught in Pollenzo in the UNESCO Heritage Castle in the Langhe (Barolo area), while the other two weeks are held in Florence at the Richmond Study Center with trips to the Chianti Region. Various visits to wineries vineyards are all included.
An optional weekend trip to Rome is available; an optional 3-day trip to Venice is also offered. Students on these trips can earn an additional 1-credit through an Intro to Italian Art class.
