Have you ever wanted to experience authentic Japanese cuisine but can't pluck up the courage to go into a restaurant with all Japanese menus? Have you ever wanted to learn how to cook Japanese food from a professional Japanese chef? Do you want to learn some Japanese that will help you during you journey across this magnificent country? Or do you want to travel around central Japan while learning some of the language and eating delectable Japanese food? If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then YAMASA's NICE Gourmet Japanese Course is for you.

Running from the 20th of November until the 26th of November, NICE combines engaging curriculum, exquisite cuisine and an all round cultural experience for the discerning foodie. For further course content, please check out the NICE website.

Highlights
  • Day 2 Tofu-making Experience Students will visit the factory of one of Japan’s popular tofu makers and will get to see how tofu is made. There will also be a hands-on experience in which students will be able to try making it.
  • Day 5 IzakayaCulinary Japanese Class World Cultural Heritage Site Japanese Cuisine Lunch We will have lunch at the Japanese-style restaurant Adusa, which is registered as a World Cultural Heritage Site.
