About Program

Designed to give participants a new understanding of the country today, this five-week Moscow-based program explores Russia's evolution after the collapse of the Soviet Union, political and economic developments under Vladimir Putin, the Russian-Ukrainian Conflict, and the role of the mass media. Participants receive 20 hours per week of in-class instruction from expert Russian faculty. Conducted in English, content courses provide participants greater insight into contemporary Russian society, politics, and economics. Russian language classes are provided for participants at all levels, including those with no prior study of Russian.
