About Program

As a supplement to its Spanish Language curriculum, the College of Arts and Humanities has developed a study abroad program for students interested in an intensive study of Spanish Language and Culture at UCF.

This program offers students a unique opportunity for full linguistic and cultural immersion intended to develop Spanish language skills. For this program, students will have the opportunity of registering for SPN 3955 Study Abroad Spain (prerequisites SPN 1120 & 1121) or IDS 3955 Study Abroad Spain. Spanish language courses are available for multiple levels of proficiency and placement will be determined by an electronic pretest.

I wish I could have stayed longer.

This program is for all levels of Spanish, wether you are a beginner, advanced, or bilingual. There are so many things to do in Nerja, including exploring caves, going to the beach, and trying deliciously traditional foods. The program also has a revealing weekend trip to Morocco and a day trip to Grenada. Just make sure you bring your own towel for the beach!
