Yes, I recommend this program

Creative Writing - laugh, cry, it's all there.

Two dogs featured in the CW class. First was a running gag and the dog was dead, l know, I know. The second I woke up crying over at 05:58 one morning and wrote ten A4 pages of notes, which was distilled into a five line poem and I don't write poems. Be prepared to have every emotion tested, examined, analysed, but that's what creative writing is about.

What would you improve about this program?
Better plenary speakers. Many used it as an opportunity to sell their books and gave standard, cliche ridden writing conference lectures. I had hoped for better.

Response from University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education

We're delighted that you found the Creative Writing programme so thought-provoking; we work hard to deliver excellent courses. Our plenary lecturers are often keen to share their own work and aim to offer a range of perspectives from within the sector.
