Price Details
All students who submit an application by the priority deadline are automatically considered for an Institute merit scholarship between $4,000 and $16,000. If awarded a Peace Corps Fellowship at the Monterey Institute, the fellow is guaranteed a minimum annual scholarship of $12,000, which is renewable for second year of study. The Fellows scholarship will replace any merit scholarship previously awarded by the Monterey Institute. Check out our website for further details.

About Program

The Monterey Institute proudly offers Peace Corps Master's International programs in three master's degrees:
Development Practice and Policy
Master of Public Administration (MPA)
MA in International Environmental Policy
MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MATESOL)
Students spend two or three semesters on campus in preparation for the 27 months of overseas service in the Peace Corps. Upon completion of service, Master's International students return to the Monterey Institute campus to complete a required project for graduation, based on the Peace Corps assignment. Master's International students will also receive a half tuition waiver to be used towards tuition in their final semester on campus.
