Are you passionate about global health in general and the survival of newborn babies in particular? And would you like to volunteer your time and skills in a unique short-term service-learning opportunity in Vietnam that can even earn you university credit?

This Newborn Care program enables you to help address clinical capacity deficits in the resuscitation and essential care of newborn babies in Vietnamese hospitals and universities. You will assist experienced master trainers to provide training workshops for the Helping Babies Breathe and Essential Care for Every Baby curricula.

Co-hosted by GEI, TCNJ and COINN, this 8-day service-learning program is available to students in Nursing, Health Sciences, Public Health and related subjects. TCNJ offers 4 academic credits to those students who also participate in a Global Health course that is offered in a series of webinars before and after the time in Vietnam.
