Examine Vietnam’s rapid economic and social transformation while exploring its rich cultural traditions and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Learn how Vietnam overcame decades of war and isolation to become one of Asia’s strongest economies through economic, political, and social transformation. From Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Hue, and Sapa, engage with government officials, NGOs, and grassroots communities to understand development from multiple perspectives. Live with a host family, study Vietnamese or Chinese, and experience one of Asia’s most dynamic societies.
