About Program

This is a remarkable workshop, an annual favorite, is ripe for any clay-lover with a specific interest in contemplating the intimate relationship between food and the vessel in which it is presented. Unique opportunities to meet with, learn from, and sample the genius of many local chefs will unveil some of the cultural and gastronomic complexities of the archipelago, while undoubtedly encouraging expansion not only of taste buds, but also conceptual perspective of the more formal design considerations of shape, texture, color and scale where the food meets the plate.

The intensive two weeks will culminate appropriately in a Manifested Meal, at which participants will star in an event dinner upon their own inspired vessels at MOKSA restaurant during the international Ubud Food Festival.

Open to all levels of experience.
