Go beyond 16,000 feet in altitude in one of the most beautiful valleys in the world. The Langtang offers tourists chance encounter with rare exotic animals in alpine forests, the scenes of the Himalayas, lush green meadows, glaciers and very welcoming local community.
- Pass through a forest with a chance of encounter wild animals such as red panda and the Himalayan bear.
- Walk past some more meadows till the largest Buddhist prayer wall in Nepal.
- See vast Himalayan grasslands which serve as yak pastures as head towards Langtang village.
- The base of TserkoRi lies some one and a half miles away from Kyangjin Gompa.
What to Expect
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu -- Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be picked up by a Mountain Kick representative and taken to your hotel
Day 2-4: Syabrubesi-Mundu -- From Syabrubesi, we will trek to the Lama hotel. This will give us the opportunity to encounter many wild animals such as the red panda and Himalayan Bear. We will hike through mainly Himalayan grasslands until we hit Mundu.
Day 5- 7: KyangjinGompa-TserkoRi --Day 5 will be a strenuous day hiking from the largest buddhist prayer wall to Kyanjin. After trekking to TserkoRi, we will start heading back to lama hotel
Day 8-10: Syabrubesi- Kathmandu Airport-- From day 7 on, we will begin our trip back to the airport for your final departure.
Housing & Meals
In Kathmandu, you will stay in a three-star hotel while you will be staying at basic guesthouses during your trek. You will have to share your room with a fellow traveller in our typical package. Also note that single room is easily available in Kathmandu and the trekking regions at lower elevation but it might be difficult to find them at higher elevations.
You will be served local food at all places we dine but you can order anything you like on the menu which you will have to pay for yourself. You will have a range of options so there won’t be a problem if you are a vegetarian or vegan. We make sure you get healthy and hygienic food throughout your travel.
