The Machame route, also known as the Whiskey route, is one of the most scenic routes and the most popular route nowadays. This route is more used than other routes, but more strenuous and involves camping at basic campsites throughout the trek. The start of this route involves a gradual climb through the rain forest, from 1800 to 3000 meters. The summit attempt is a long.

Accommodation:
You will spend two nights at Kiliwonders hotel in Moshi before and after the climb. The room would be shared per two person but private rooms can be available based on a request.

Itinerary:
DAY 1: Hike to Machame hut 3000m
DAY 2: Hike to Shira cave 3750M
DAY 3: Hike to lave tower( 4600) and descend to Baranco camp 3940M
DAY 4: Hike to Karanga camp 3995m
DAY 5: Hike to Barafu camp 4600M (Base camp)
DAY 6: Summit 5895m and descend to Mweka camp 3100M
DAY 7: Descend to Mweka gate 1640M an drive to your hotel in Moshi for overnight
