About Program

Spend a week in the nation's capital with intellectually curious peers on the Smithsonian's Washington, D.C., campus. Choose a seminar, take advantage of the Smithsonian's vast resources from museum exhibits to subject matter experts, and go in-depth with your chosen theme. This educational summer program encourages students to explore an interest and expand their horizons with the guidance of accomplished instructors and inspiring professionals.

Seminar topics include Air & Space; American Democracy & Media; Art & Influence; Entrepreneurship; Race & Social Justice; Technology & Innovation; Wildlife & Conservation; and Writing & Digital Storytelling.

This program offers a day student option and a residential option, and students who are interesting in multiple seminar themes can link sessions with a discount.
