About Program

Join Love Volunteers and their partner organisation in Brazil for the volunteer experience of a lifetime! Our programs work with the poorest inhabitants of Rio and aim to improve the future opportunities and living conditions of those who call one of the largest 'favelas' (shanty towns) home.

Rio is an incredible and vibrant city but there is a marked difference between those who 'have' and those who do not. Volunteers are desperately needed to bring balance by giving the 'have nots' the chance for a better life. Education, childcare, Self-Sufficiency and an improved standard of living all give these people the helping hand and encouragement they need to empower them to escape from the vicious cycle of poverty.
