Affordable Volunteer Placements and Study in Brazil

Nikitas Language Abroad Schools offers a variety of volunteering projects in three different cities in Brazil. Participants can volunteer with a nonprofit wildlife conservation organization for endangered species, childcare house for children removed from the custody of their parents, environmental conservation of a national park, youth community center, children family school, or children outreach support for ages 8-16 years. Projects are based in the cities of Curitiba, Florianópolis, and Rio de Janeiro.

A volunteer organization is accepted based on the following criteria; however, exceptions can be made depending on experience and enthusiasm:
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Minimum commitment: 2 weeks
- Minimum Portuguese level
- Passion for this experience and genuine interest in helping.
