AMPED's volunteer and internship programs in Atenas, Costa Rica are "Pura Vida"! If you're a novice at traveling abroad, with a desire to roll-up your sleeves and get involved with a true community-based project, our projects in Atenas are the perfect opportunity for you to get your feet wet. Volunteer: 2-12 weeks
Intern: 4-12 weeks
Choose from the following projects: community center, environmental conservation, elderly care, healthcare/medicine, orphanage/daycare, pet rescue, sea turtle conservation, children and adults with special needs, English teaching, women's coperative, organic farming, physical therapy, and public relations and marketing. NOTE: For projects that are not listed on our website, please feel free to inquire for more information.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in.
