Video and Photos

About

In Pavones, a community located in the province of San Jose, in Costa Rica, SOS volunteers will work with a local organization and community members to build a new classroom at the elementary school. Under the leadership of a professional, volunteers will lead the construction efforts by digging trenches, constructing rebar, mixing concrete, and more. SOS recognizes the importance and need for educational infrastructure and has been working with communities in Central and South America for over 10 years. However, SOS also values cross cultural dialogue and mutual understanding, so during your trip you will connect with communities members, hear their stories, and visit important local sites.

SOS is committed to providing a unique and intimate life changing experience- are you ready?
