This is a fully-funded government program for UK and EU residents who have been living in the UK for the last 12 months.

About Program

Challenges Worldwide is a pioneering social enterprise placing International Citizen Service volunteers to work as Business Support Associates for a 12-week placement.

The Challenges Worldwide ICS program offers 18-25 year olds the opportunity to work alongside local counterparts to support growing enterprises in Ghana through the delivery of the Challenges Worldwide Enterprise Support Framework. The ICS program is government-funded, which covers travel, food and accommodation with a host family.

Our volunteers do not need previous business experience to deliver the Enterprise Support Framework as during the program we deliver weekly training in Professional Consulting accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. After their placement, volunteers have the chance to complete their Level 5 qualification in Professional Consulting at an exclusive rate. Our businesses focus on everything from sustainable agriculture, renewable energies, clean tech and artisan products.
