About Program
Teaching / Education: (Xela)
For children in western countries it is normal to attend school every day. Unfortunately in Guatemala the reality is different. Children often don't go to school, and their rights or education is no priority. At this project the children are given a chance with education, including personal coaching with life skills to improve their outlook in life. This program is open year round except in December/early January. Located in the town of Salcaja near Xela.
Activities / Requirements: You will help teach English, also teaching sports classes, creative lessons like painting, drawing, crafts and dance.

Program Length: From 4 week to 12 weeks
Program Date: January thru November
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6-8 hrs per day

Meals: 3 meals daily Requirements: 18 years
