World Endeavors' volunteer program in Jamaica focuses on Deaf Education. Volunteers partner with a Deaf Education organization in Jamaica to assist educators in their efforts to improve local educational facilities, raise literacy rates of deaf children and youth, and increase the opportunities available for the deaf community in Jamaica. All volunteers are based in Kingston, the capitol and largest city in Jamaica. In their spare time, volunteers can go swimming, climb waterfalls, or hike the Blue Mountain.
