Working in Organic Farming Project - Cultural Exchange

Volunteers with an interest in this area will receive appropriate training and an opportunity to work with a local farmer group. As a volunteer in the organic farming project, you will support the activities of the community nursery, which is formed to distribute indigenous tree seedlings for free to local farmers, schools and communities. The work in the nursery includes: hoeing, planting, weeding, irrigating and other related works. Volunteers working in a organic farming project will also work on the farm and vegetable gardens farmers with family, where they can learn about organic farming and its importance.

Volunteer's responsibilities:

Volunteers working in this project in Nepal will engage themselves in work on the farm of the host family or in a nursery that raises seedlings.
