Operation Hope Foundation is looking for an individual with management and missions background to be based in Pokhara, Nepal as a missionary for 2-5 years.
Job Description
Working in Nepal to nurture the children in our children's home.
Identify, develop and work with locals on community projects
Resposibilities
Assisting local staff in managing the children's home in areas such as:
- Discipline
- Study
- Livelihood skills
- Character development
Training House Parents
Community Projects:
- Disseminate manuals and videos to teach villagers to build earthquake-proof houses
- Find new partners for training workshop and building rice bag houses.
- Starting of skill training program for youth in 2019
Qualifications
- Management and supervisory experience
- Missions experience
- Matured Christian with a calling to children
- Strong character with experience in handling children and adolescents
- Project management skills
- Resourceful and willing to work with Nepali partners
