Medical volunteers needed for the Gandaki Hospital, Nepal

EHN are looking to recruit medical volunteers for the Gandaki hospital in Pokhara, its a government run hospital and provides free health care for the poorest people across the country. Hence it can get very busy at times of the year so its important you have medical experience.
As a medical volunteer you will not be allowed to treat the patients but will be working with the doctors and nurses on the day to day running of the wards.
Also at regular intervals medical camps are arranged in the villages so if you are invited then go along and see rural medical care in the Himalayas.
The placement itself is for medical students/ professionals who wish to experience medical care in one of the poorest countries in the world.
Please note the fee is higher than EHN usual fees because a % of the fee goes directly to the wards to support the care there. Please ask our team for details.
