This is a project which emphasizes different areas of local development and social empowerment in a small community. They facilitate both, social and environmental responsibility through the promotion of education, health, and culture. The organization is a volunteer-operated and community-supported meeting place which opened in the year 2008.Since its inception, the center began collecting books to create a public library. Today the library contains over 1,000 books in English and Spanish. After that, volunteers arrived to help with improvements on the house (building tables and shelves, painting murals) and creating workshops (Art, English, and Gardening). Currently, ongoing English classes and private tutoring are provided by community members as well as volunteers.
