About Program
Volunteer at Local Schools in Palestine is a volunteer program which is offered by the Palestinian Center – Go Palestine in Hebron. This program provides a great opportunity to those who want to visit Palestine, while meeting Palestinian students at the local schools in Hebron. Very importantly, this program offers the opportunity for a volunteer to leave a positive impact on Palestinian society.
Volunteer at Local Schools in Palestine will give you the opportunity to teach English and to participate in various educational activities, which are aimed at enhancing the English language skills of the Palestinian students in local schools in Hebron. This program includes your participation in English conversational sessions in the classroom, along with the organization of educational and entertainment activities.

Program Highlights
- Participate in activities and interact with Palestinian children, teachers, and other volunteers.
- Engaging in the Palestinian community, culture, and daily Palestinian life.
- Accommodation, including either staying with a local host family or at our 8th-floor apartment. Private accommodation is also available with extra fees.
- 4,5 hours of Arabic lessons per week – Three classes/1,5 hours a class.
- Day Trips to refugee camps in Hebron & Bethlehem and some areas of political importance.
