This program aims to insert people with disabilities into the labor market through training and developing personal and socio-professional skills, in the context of the Agri-food sector.
Volunteers will join a non-profit and will help and support the local host center in their daily tasks. The tasks are built around agriculture activities, such as planting and sowing, weeding, ground covering, assembly of vegetable baskets and other general agriculture tasks. There is also the possibility to participate and help in other activities related to product storage in boxes and on shelves and labeling. All these activities are developed under the supervision of the organization’s staff and integrated into the training dynamics of the project beneficiaries.
This project is ideal for volunteers looking for a hands-on outdoor experience focused not only on agriculture practices but also in social integration.
