Bear Tracking Volunteer Project, Sweden

Video and Photos

A programme designed for those looking for a short term deep wilderness and wildlife tracking experience. This project is ideal for a short term break or alternative to a holiday for families, retired folk, travelers, nature enthusiasts and wildlife photographers. Volunteers can join for one to two weeks and live in the heart of Swedish wilderness.

The bear tracking is made with respect for the animals - no baiting is involved. This means there is no guarantee that you will see a bear, however there are over 30 brown bears living in the area around Sånfjället National Park. As well as the opportunity to see countless other species, volunteers can get involved with beaver tracking, fly fishing, canoeing and wilderness survival skills.
