About Program
Volunteers provide extra capacity and skills to make a real difference to the lives of children in some of the most challenging circumstances. Working with street children, in refuges & care homes, orphanages and schools, volunteers work under the direction of local staff to provide more time for each child; more time to care, educate and play with these children.
Volunteers may be unskilled, offering general support and care under guidance of the project leader, or may be qualified healthcare and social welfare professionals, (e.g. physiotherapist, occupational therapist) capable of leading programs and transferring skills to the project to make a more lasting impact.
Our projects have been assessed as being responsible and ethical. Volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of 1 month and must work within our Safeguarding policy and Responsible Volunteering code of conduct.
Placements exist in Nepal, Cambodia, Mexico, Ecuador, Kenya and Tanzania
