About Program
A wonderful project for those who are interested in conducting important research and conservation efforts through daily diving and laboratory work.
Help save the depleting coral reefs which are essential for the survival of many breeds of tropical fish. See the effects of coral bleaching, physical damage, over fishing, climate change and contamination that have compromised this underwater paradise.
Spend your days monitoring the local ecosystem and developing improvement methods for reef conservation. You will be collecting samples, observing fish behavior, taking photographs and measurements, gathering data, growing ‘nubbins’, measuring water temperature and contributing to coral reef clean ups.
Learn to dive and gain a qualification in this friendly fishing village of Chalok Lum. This is perfect work experience for those looking to study marine based university subjects and also a great chance to experience the delights of this fantastic country.
