Volunteer Teaching - help our grassroots NGO change lives

Video and Photos

The Indoor program includes teaching to school age students; playing educational game and activities with kindergarten children; teaching novice monks; English camps, during school holidays; some 1-on-1 teaching onsite at our foundation; and other duties such as, resource making, recording lesson plans in our teaching database, and office tidying. These activities vary throughout the year, so it is important to be flexible and understanding, especially during school holidays (March-May and October, plus sundry bank holidays).

Teachers are afforded great respect in Thailand, so it is important that volunteers dress presentably, know and follow local culture, and are a good role model to the students. Teacher training is NOT required, as we will give a half day tuition before sending you into class. New volunteers, where possible, are teamed with current volunteers.
