Price Details

Included in the price is a detailed information pre-departure package, your pick-up at Bangkok airport with two nights hostel accommodation including breakfast in the heart of Bangkok. An orientation and familiarization meeting with project participants and representatives of local organizations, the next day will be sightseeing around Bangkok, a joint dinner, and transfer with air-conditioned bus or train and ferry to Koh Samui and the project site. On the project site breakfast and lunch each day is included. Additionally the participation of an experienced English-speaking coordinator who is always present on the spot along with 24-hour contacts in case of emergency.

About Program

This project supports two local schools that have a very poor record with English learning. Our volunteers help with pronunciation and create fun and interesting lessons each day. The children at the schools are from poor local families and without the most basic of knowledge of English will always fail to get out of the rut that they find themselves in. By having a good grasp of English these kids have the tools to find work in an ever increasing tourism market on the island, or to find places in further education at schools, colleges and universities on the mainland and in the big cities.
