Unparalled experience

We were blown away with every aspect of our experience with Thorsmork Trail Volunteers. We repaired and built trails, built a garden plot, planted native species of trees, removed invasive species (lupine) from a hill-top, cut back willow in campsites to create protection from the wind and privacy for tents, built erosion control fences, built berms to move water into a ditch, and learned to use the waste of one process to make something else. The group is led by a man with deep knowledge of the area and its delicate needs, a man who truly cares about the people he works with. He speaks with passion and clarity about his work. Be prepared to be cold and wet at times, but also be prepared for the experience of a lifetime.
