Scared, alone and no support.

I joined a Sunrise volunteer placement as an 18 year old girl who didn't know anyone in China. The placement was poorly organised, the staff weren't expecting me and told me they didn't know what I was doing there. I received no support from the staff in the UK who actually began ignoring my phone calls and my emails. I would advise you to avoid this organisation at all costs.
