studied Mandarin for one semester at Beijing Language and Culture University through GAC, and it exceeded all expectations. The teaching was top-tier, and classes were small and interactive. Living with a Chinese host family helped me improve fast and gave me insight into local life. I joined cultural clubs on campus and even took weekend trips arranged by GAC. It was a rich blend of academic rigor and personal growth. GAC’s support—from airport pickup to weekend excursions—made me feel secure and excited to explore. This experience broadened my horizons in every way.
