The cost of the Essential TEFL program is 45,000THB ($1,300USD; £1,015GBP). All course materials are covered by this price, as well as all testing fees required. Applying to Essential TEFL course in Bangkok was like hitting the jackpot for teaching English! If you are looking to break into TEFL, this course is your golden ticket. From the get go, the training was all about real teaching skills, no fluff, all stuff! The staff were super supportive, always ready to help you nail down those teaching techniques and make sure you are classroom ready.

What's cooler? After the course, I landed a gig at a popular kindergarten in Bangkok, thanks to their solid job placement program. I spent two awesome years there, teaching everything from Arts and Crafts to Science, Math, and of course, English. The school was amazing, super supportive, and the perfect place to apply all I learned. It was also a 5 minute walk from a Central Bangkok BTS station.

The facilities at the TEFL course were top and networking with peers and pros gave me a serious edge in the education sector. If you are all about living and teaching in an exciting city while getting the best TEFL training, this course has your name on it!

Jumping into the Essential TEFL course in Bangkok was like diving into the deep end—scary at first, but totally worth it! The first time I stood in front of a classroom, it was a mix of butterflies and 'wow, this is real!' I was teaching students from all over the world, which was as cool as it was challenging. But, thanks to heaps of prep work and super supportive instructors, I started to find my groove and actually enjoyed it.

One of the coolest days was 'Cultural Teaching Day'—imagine a day where everyone shares bits of their home through English lessons. It was a blast and really spiced up the learning vibe. Plus, the course was packed with all the nitty-gritty stuff you need to know to become a boss at teaching English, so I felt ready to tackle just about anything in the classroom.
Now, let’s talk location! super, super handy! The school's just a 10-minute stroll from the Lat Phrao subway station, making it easy to zip around Bangkok. Yes, the area gets a tad crowded and the workload can get intense, but that’s just part of the adventure. Sure, the job market in Bangkok is competitive, but with the skills I picked up, I was ready to stand out.
All in all, signing up for this TEFL course was one of my best decisions, educational and fun, with a dash of Bangkok’s hustle and bustle.

What was the most nerve-racking moment and how did you overcome it?

The most nerve racking moment for me was the first time I had to teach a class as part of my practical training. Facing a room full of students expecting to learn English was daunting. However, I overcame this by thoroughly preparing my lesson plans and utilising the teaching techniques taught during the course. The supportive feedback from my instructors and peers also played a crucial role in boosting my confidence.
