Banana Kids, an established English as a Foreign Language (EFL) school seeks motivated, energetic, native English speaker to teach children. Our school has been operating for over 16 years and is located in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture. Utsunomiya is about 100 km north of Tokyo.

Banana Kids English lesson:
1. We strive to make a comfortable atmosphere for Japanese children to become comfortable with English and their foreign teachers. Lessons generally take place at local kindergartens.
2. Foreign teachers work together with Japanese teachers to provide a conversational English lesson. Dealing with young children it is required that teachers be energetic and enthusiastic.

We provide:
Salary: 240,000 yen
Contract completion bonus: 100,000

Teaching hours:
Maximum 25 hours per week

Working hours:
40 hours per week including teaching hours

Overtime pay:
2,000 yen per hour

Holidays
Teachers follow the original Banana Kids schedule. Basically, Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays are off (we have about five working days per year that occur on weekends). Paid spring vacation (about 1 week), paid summer vacation (about 3 weeks), paid Christmas vacation (about 2 weeks).

Drivers license and Bachelors degree required
