Mis Manos Montessori School in Huanchaco Beach Peru is seeking a lead teacher for children 6 to 9 years of age.

We currently have an established Montessori kindergarten with 28 children, but have a group of 8 (6 and 7 year olds) that are moving on to the elementary level. We are in need of an experienced lead teacher who is great at daily planning and can lead this group throughout the year in all subjects.

This is a paid position and we offer a free room overlooking the ocean with wireless internet, hot water, bathroom/shower and access to the kitchen. We also have access to a beach cruiser bicycle for strolls around the village.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants adventure and wants to learn about the Montessori philosophy and the Latin culture. Huanchaco is a tourist/surfer paradise in Northern Peru and is near many Inca ruins.

Our school year begins in March and ends in December. It is extremely important for the teacher to stay the entire school year.

The following criteria is required for the position:

• English and Spanish speaking is appreciated but not required
• Montessori and/or years of teaching experience
• Able to commit to the entire school year
• Eager and willing to learn and grow with the school
