Why did you choose this program?
I’ve chosen EDUCA Russian language school because it has a huge amount of advantages apart from other schools in Saint Petersburg. The best thing is, of course, teachers. They are definitely qualified and simply the best. The location is the most central as it could be. I also like the design on their website as it is simple and modern.
I have read the reviews everywhere and decided that this school is reliable as so many students say the like being there. I was searching for information all over Google and couldn’t find a better Russian language school than EDUCA.
I want to come back here to continue my education.
What did your program provider (or university) assist you with, and what did you have to organize on your own?
School managers and teachers are extremely helpful and they did everything they could to make my stay perfect. It never was a problem to ask them for help. They stay in touch with me all the time and help me to book another course in EDUCA.
They helped me with advice on where it is better to go to eat and to buy souvenirs. They do care about the experience students get in EDUCA, so I’m sure that, if I have any setback, they will always be there to help me out.
It was all great, I can't complain.
What is one piece of advice you'd give to someone going on your program?
I would definitely recommend the program and EDUCA Russian Language School to everyone who wants to learn Russian. You won’t have a better experience anywhere else.
There is everything you need for a proper learning experience. The books are up to date, the teachers are highly qualified, the other staff is understanding and helpful, the location of the school is perfect. You won’t regret.
There are other schools in Saint Petersburg, but they are either located in the middle of nowhere or the managers are not competent enough to give proper suggestions to you.
Going into your experience abroad, what was your biggest fear, and how did you overcome it? How did your views on the issue change?
Travelling is my lifestyle. I often travel abroad in order to get more new experience and learn something new. Meeting new people is also quite a reason for me. You never know what the place and people there are truly are unless you go and see it there with your own eyes. That is why I go abroad. Other people, other habits, other views places, and food.
Differences between people are amazingly huge. We are all dramatically diverse but still have so much in common. I love traveling. Having met new people, I add them to my account on Facebook or Instagram and keep in touch, send letters and so on.
If you could do this trip again, what would you change?
The only thing I wish I could change is the short period I was staying there for. I wish I could spend more time in this wonderful city. However, work can’t wait for me to return for so long. That is why, each time I decide to travel, I don’t take that much of it.
Maybe I could also take less warm clothes as it was warm. However, the weather is never predictable, so just in case it is better to think about it in advance. I should have taken an umbrella with me; I didn’t know that it was going to rain in winter.
