What is your favorite travel memory?

There are many as all the traveler says ;) but one of my favorites is with my friends in Kempty Falls during my Mussoorie trip in India. Every single moment of getting drenched at Kempty falls gives me the feeling of freedom, rebirth and complete enjoyment. It inspires me to travel more frequently with friends and our journey becomes inspiration for our other friends too.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

If I have to say in one or two words it's basically the "Customer Satisfaction".

Being an MBA graduate, it's very easy for me to say, but this is what I personally feel very important for any company. As one satisfied customer will bring you many leads and if not that he will always be a helpful resource to you which you can use as a reference.

And this is not something hard to achieve, even customers know that we can't fulfill all their requirements, but we have to put ourselves in their shoes and think what kind of reply or service make us or them feel better. If we observe any successful company, we can easily identify that the reason of them doing good is the millions of loyal customers they have who love to relate themselves with a company.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Actually, I try to achieve perfection and do best in everything I do and VolSol supports me at every step and boosted my confidence in anything new or creative I ever want to try.

I really like to learn new things and my profile also gives me the opportunity to do new things everyday to catch people's attention on our posts. While working with VolSol from past two years I observed that now it takes me a second to think of anything creative and not only I ideate but also execute it very smoothly with my team support. I have learned many new skills while working here including advertising/promotion, photo/video designing, customer interaction, convincing skills, etc.

What unique qualities does your company possess?

  • Customer Satisfaction - We give priority to customer interest.
  • Spontaneity - We always try to be spontaneous in resolving any of our customer's query or issues.
  • Empathy - We understand customers requirements and situation and always come up with best possible solution.
  • Affordability - We make sure the services we are giving are value for money for our customers.
  • Great Service - From the first point of contact to forever, we are always there for our customers.

Describe a time when you felt especially proud to be part of your current team.

I may sound like I am making honey quoted statement, but every time when a street kid smile on getting dressed for his first class, an orphan get the love and care they deserve, a community is able to build houses, schools for their kids and a person who cannot afford, get the treatment for their diseases, we seriously feel very proud then and it's all possible because of our volunteers who reach out to them, serve them with all the have and raise funds to provide help in every way possible.

I am proud to be a part of this company as an individual as I get a chance to see and do a lot of things which is not possible otherwise.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

If I again say it's hard to pick one you may not believe, but most of the times we have great volunteer experience and everyone's story has something new and interesting to offer.

However, there is a girl named Katherine Miga, 17-year-old who traveled from Canada with us for Summer Program in Thailand last year. She was so happy with her experience as she was traveling solo for the first time and got to experience so many new things, that now she is inspired to travel whole Asia alone.

We felt so glad on reading her blog in a Huffington and watching her YouTube video where she shares her story about her first time volunteering experience as a solo traveler. We believe her story will be an inspiration to many girls who are not traveling just because they can't find a friend/partner. Volunteering is one of the best ways for girls traveling alone abroad, as its provide them safety and opportunity to explore new places at the same time.
