What is your favorite travel memory?

Jennifer from Travel and Teach Recruiting

My favorite travel memory is when I chose to move to Korea. It was there that for the first time I not only got to travel a country extensively, but by living there I became completely enamored with the culture and lifestyle.

I made friends there that I still have today and with them we had the chance to travel all around Korea, participate in the most amazing festivals that take place year round and also had the opportunity to travel to surrounding countries. It was the best life decision I have ever made for myself.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

Working at Travel and Teach has given me an opportunity to expand my skill sets and has offered me professional diversity. I've had the opportunity to take part in many aspects of the company and have worked towards its growth.

I have learned how much I loved working with people and have had the chance to use my educational and personal experiences to make me flourish in my role. I have also had the chance to learn more about marketing, which has offered me professional advancements in my portfolio.

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

That this experience was life changing and that they would never be same after it. What's more is that there have been countless stories like this from many returning students.

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

I would choose to go to Korea to teach, I loved living and teaching in the countryside and would choose that option again as I enjoyed having the chance to be more ingrained in the culture.

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

What makes us unique is, firstly, that we care, we have been there and have had the exact same experience as those we are recruiting, so we know every feeling, every worry and can answer every question that any future teacher has.

We care in that we genuinely want you to have the most amazing time of your life, like we ourselves have had. It's really that simple.

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

Teamwork, collaboration and the ability to grow, not being stuck in what used to work but evolving ourselves to accommodate our teachers.
