What is your favorite travel memory?

It is hard to pick a favorite memory, but I would say that the most influential travel experience for me was when I studied abroad for 4 years at University in the States. I lived and studied in East Tennessee, which is a world away from my hometown of Birmingham, England. The special memories I have there, the things I learnt and the people I met will always be so important for me, and so I would say this is my favorite travel memory because it has impacted me the most.

How have you changed/grown since working for your current company?

I feel like I have grown in a lot of ways. This was a new field of work for me when I started the job, so I have definitely learnt a lot about international education! Personally, I would say I have learnt how to work effectively as part of a diverse team and to manage a high workload while still enjoying the job!

What is the best story you've heard from a return student?

I love it when the students let us know how they are doing after their experience and talk about how their experience has helped to open their minds, change their career paths or make them more motivated to travel and learn about the world. I wouldn't say I have a particular story, but in general, just the impact we can have on them in such a short time is really rewarding for us, and something we really value!

If you could go on any program that your company offers, which one would you choose and why?

For me, I would choose a combination of programs. I would enjoy the idea of doing multiple things and so would opt for a custom program. I think it would be really cool to do an Internship in a foreign company and learn about business through a new perspective, and at the same time taking Spanish classes with other international students who have the same passion to learn Spanish. Also, I would definitely add extra activities like day trips and cultural excursions to discover Valencia and see as much as possible!

What makes your company unique? When were you especially proud of your team?

I truly believe our company is unique because of our diverse team and also because we strive to provide students with an original study abroad package. We consider the student's interests, personal preferences and individual career goals to design each internship, Spanish course, living situation and program the best we can.

I am always proud of the team! Especially when we have extremely busy days, and without each other working hard together, we couldn't achieve what we are achieving!

What do you believe to be the biggest factor in being a successful company?

The most crucial part of being successful is communication. I think if a team doesn't communicate, things can break down. We work together every day and constantly discuss current events and future plans, to make sure we are all on the same page. Moreover, being passionate about helping others is definitely an important part of working in this field.
