Florence Classical Arts Academy

Florence Classical Arts Academy s a visual art academy located in Florence, Italy. The Academy teaches fundamental principals, methods and techniques of classical art, diligently transmitted over the centuries since the Italian Renaissance.

Our mission is to give an opportunity to study and refine traditional techniques of painting, drawing and composition, which will improve one’s confidence and strength of character necessary to become a professional artist of the highest caliber. Our passionate and highly skilled art professors are experts in the different subjects and techniques.

All of our classes are all conducted in English and we offer both short-term and long-term courses. . Our students come from all over the world to study art in Florence.

The Academy is based in the Villa di Bargioni, a 19th century Palazzo in a quiet residential area of Florence, a twenty-minute walk away from the city center. The campus provides fully equipped studio spaces and accommodation.
