Kariega Nature College is proud to facilitate the opportunity for nature enthusiasts and aspirant students to reach their goal of achieving FGASA field guiding and tracking qualifications.
Our teams unique approach focuses on the personal development and mentorship of each candidate from student to professional guide and tracker.
Situated on South Africa’s malaria-free Garden Route, Kariega Game Reserve, home to the Kariega Nature College, spans across 10,000 hectares of pristine Eastern Cape wilderness and is home to the famous Big 5 as well as a multitude of African wildlife including hippo, giraffe and zebra.
Unique to Kariega Nature College is that students engage with at least five of South Africa’s nine terrestrial biomes. They also have the opportunity to enjoy time along the beautiful coast of the Eastern Cape.
Students learn within a “Big Five” conservancy where they can expect spectacular wildlife sightings and memorable encounters.
