The University of Strathclyde

Located in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland’s biggest city, the University of Strathclyde is an international technological university with a reputation for delivering academic excellence.

Founded in 1796 as ‘the place of useful learning’, the University of Strathclyde was Scotland’s only higher education institution founded during the Enlightenment. Today the University is home to over 22,000 students from over 100 countries across the world and is investing £650 million in developing the campus over the course of the current decade. In 2018, the £31m Strathclyde Sport opened, bringing state-of-the-art sporting facilities to campus, and work has started on the new £60million Learning & Teaching hub.
