Where do you stay during spring break?

My son is leaving for Salamanca with aifs next week. Where will he stay during spring break? Is he allowed to continue to stay with his host family?

Hi Michelle, I was in the program 8 years ago so please check with the AIFS staff in Salamanca. At that time, spring break was not covered so we all planned ahead. Some opted out for staying with their host families, all you had to do is check with them and pay an additional fee directly to them. Others went home for the 2 weeks, but as for me, I did some backpacking with friends thru Europe, it was an amazing experience. So at the end of the day it's up to you as a family, but I'm sure whatever decision is made, your son will have a great time!
