Professional and Personal Growth in Valencia

I had a really awesome internship with a company called IVICSA, and I was set up with a full network of support from Euroace, through Intern Abroad HQ. I was given Spanish language lessons, I attended group activities, and Euroace acted as an intermediate liaison to set me up with that internship position in the first place. Valencia is a beautiful city with a number of wonderful people and places, and given the duration of my stay, I felt like I was there for just long enough and empowered to be independent and take full advantage of the opportunity. I had a wonderful time.

Pros
  • Many students my age, all English-speaking, who were easy to approach and hang out with
  • City was easy to navigate with a lot of fun things to see and do
  • My internship position afforded me the ability to do professionally/intellectually satisfying work
Cons
  • It can be a bit disorienting being in a foreign place for the first time I suppose, especially when everyone speaks a different language

Summer Associate

"Learning through experience has been one of the best things I've come away with from my internship. I have learnt a lot about how law works in the European Union, my role opening doors for me to come to Europe and work in the field of law. I was involved in a series of different tasks related to trademarks, patents, designs, registrations and intellectual property infringement. I was responsible for drafting applications submitted on behalf of my company's brands, responding to oppositions received from other brands, filing complaints for intellectual property rights violations, conducting brand and design comparisons, researching current legislation on patents and trademarks, and interacting with trademark registration offices in the European Union. Legal multiculturalism has been one of the most enriching experiences I have acquired."

Experience with Euroace

When I decided that I wanted to go to Valencia for my internship, I found Euroace and was met with extremely helpful people that provided me with an organisation for my internship (on two occasions) along with accommodation and amazing Spanish lessons. If you ever want to go to Valencia for an internship or Spanish course, I highly recommend you contact Euroace as they will provide you with an amazing service and help you with anything you need to make sure you have a great experience!

Great School

Euroace provided me with an internship and I had daily classes for nearly 5 months.
The organization of everything was super smooth, staff and teachers were top notch and the classes were always fun.
I went frim 0 knowledge of Spanish to be able to communicate freely and confidently in everyday situations.

The internship was okay. As I had previous knowledge in the field I didn't learn very much, but was able to experience Spanish working culture and immerse myself into day to day business.

Valencia is a great and safe city! Mountains are nearby, the school is in the city center and the beach easily accessible.

I would highly recommend Euroace to everyone who wants to learn Spanish and immerse him-/herself into Spanish culture

Absolutely Loved It!

When you work with Euroace, you can expect to work with the friendliest staff, engaging professors, and meet people from around the globe! Euroace has an effective structure that allows you to customize your classes to best fit your needs and desires. Whether you're looking for a few or several classes a week, Euroace will be accommodating to best suit you. The teachers are well experienced and speak clearly for you to learn and understand optimally.
I was in Valencia for 2.5 months and enjoyed every moment of it! The school plans a verity of events that include seeing a flamenco performance, tour a winery, participate in a cooking class, and they even have workout classes. As I mentioned before, the staff are wonderful. They all are so friendly and I felt so welcomed there. Euroace helped me find a host family to stay with, and I really enjoyed getting to know the family, and the culture while practicing my Spanish with them.
I'm currently taking online classes, and the classes are equally engaging and beneficial. I definitely think this is the best value you can find.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
If I were to do it again, I would plan to stay for a longer emount time. I was only there for two and a half months.

Online Spanish classes Euroace

I had lived in Valencia and taken Spanish classes from Euroace for half a year before the corona outbreak put the whole country in lockdown. I stayed in Valencia and continued my classes online, with the whole school shifting quickly to the online environment. The classes are similar to physical ones, with the same structure, atmosphere and learning. Apart from missing the physical aspect of the classes, I continue to learn a lot, as well as enjoying the social aspect of seeing my classmates. The platform used, whereby, is an excellent and easy tool for the online classes and all in all I would definitely recommend these online classes if you want to improve your Spanish and learn about Spain. The classes are very personal, well-prepared and all conditions are optimal to learn.

What would you improve about this program?
The only issue that the classes sometimes have is the internet connection, but there is not much the school can really do about that. As I said, apart from that I could not think of a better environment to learn Spanish.

Amazing spanish course in Valencia by EuroAce

I had an amazing time in Valencia with EuroAce. My accommodation was perfectly situated in the city centre and within 3 minutes walking to to school itself. My roommates were very kind and helpful. The the school itself, the classes were always fun and interactive. I am a 19 years old Dutch guy and I never really liked school before, but this course is super interactive and the teachers are really nice and helpful. Which resulted in me going to school with pleasure. If you want something explained they wil always listen and try their best. It is actually amazing how quick I learned how to speak Spanish. I had very little previous knowledge of Spanish and after two months I was able to have a Spanish conversation with actual Spanish people. I also made friends in Valencia who were on other bigger schools, and the thing that makes EuroAce so great is that they emphasize a lot on speaking. In the classes you almost only speak Spanish. Of course you can ask anything in English but the focus is fully on speaking Spanish. With four hours a day for two months I made a lot of progression. The classes and the school are small which makes that you feel ''at home'' quickly. The way the staff treats you is very personal, they know your name and if you have any questions or problems they are always ready to help. For example, I had a problem with my bracelet and when I told the staff they immediately called an English speaking dentist and the problem was fixed within two days. They also plan weekly social activities outside of school which is great for making friends. When I was in Valencia the coronavirus epidemic happened, which made me have to go to my home in the Netherlands one month earlier. The communication with EuroAce was very easy and quick and when I arrived home I continued my classes online. The online classes are very good as well, of course it is harder to teach and learn online instead of actually sitting in the same classroom. But still I really enjoy my classes. They are still interactive and we get to speak a lot. So to sum up my experience with EuroAce in Valencia, I would say that it was close to perfect and I would recommend everyone. And btw they didn't ask me to leave a good review.

What was your funniest moment?
I had so many funny moments in class. We laughed almost every day.

A Truly Delightful Experience

I went to EuroAce with high expectations and am happy to say that those expectations were exceeded. The staff are incredibly friendly and supportive. It was very clear that they wanted everyone to have the best experience possible. There was never a shortage of adventure as EuroAce provided weekly excursions and opportunities to meet fellow students & travelers. The excursions allow you to immerse in Spanish food and culture in ways that are unforgettable. I highly recommend EuroAce for anyone who wants a genuine experience in Spain.

If you did this all over again, what's one thing you would change?
I would have made my stay in Valencia longer!!!!!!

Great Spanish Course in Valencia!

Since my first contact with Euroace, they were really helpfull.
Arriving in Valencia they even offered me a shuttle to pick me up in the airport. In my first week in the city I went to see the school and they helped me with a lot of things, for example how to do the public transportation card and how to acctivate it, and where should I go to buy some things that I was looking for.
The classes and the teachers were also great and the building is really well located. The school is not big, neither the classrooms but they are organized and clean, and also they have one really cool rooftop where you can go during the break of the classes to get some fresh air and eat something, they even offer yoga lessons there!
I could notice that I was learning fast, but one problem is that there are not too many different class levels, so there is the possibility of having classes with persons that are much "worse" or "better" than you in the language, and also there are not many possibilities of schedule.
In general I really reccomend the school, I can´t think of any negative points, and also the price is fair!! The only thing the bodered me, was that I had to leave Europe yearlier because of the CoronaVirus crises, and they said that they couldn´t return me the money, the options were continue with online classes from Brazil or postpone the course to do it later. It was an specific cenario and I think that they should have considered. But besides that my experience there was awesome!!

What was the most surprising thing you saw or did?
About the Fallas, it is amazing! It is a big festival that happens in March in Valencia with a lot of different activities. In the classes we learn a lot about it and even went outside many days to take a better look at it
