About Program
This course will introduce attendees with the essential financial concepts and techniques associated with the financing of entrepreneurial start-up ventures. Financial instruments such as equity and debt will be introduced along with their valuation principles, the corporate governance implications arising from these financing methods, and financing entities such as informal Business Angel financing as well as more formalised Venture Capital and Private Equity early stage financing. The relevance of these financing techniques will be outlined throughout the entrepreneurial life cycle of nascent ventures and internationally too, where attendees will develop an enhanced appreciation of international entrepreneurial landscape.
