Last summer I did the summer program in india with volunteering solutions. I didn't know what to expect at first, because I'm not used to book anything in internet. The summer program gives you the opportunity to travel cheap and see lots of places in india while volunteering. It is also a good incentive that you don't have to worry about placements or mobility while traveling because it is all included in the program.
