A Belgian girl on the rocky road to Dublin

My Erasmus exchange at Trinity College has surely been "the time of my life". Before leaving Belgium I would never have imagined how studying abroad could have impacted my life. I would never regret it and if I had the opportunity, I would do it all over again. The famous quote "time flies" has never been so true for me and those three months went faster than the blink of an eye. I have to admit that this exchange was, of course, one of the most challenging experiences I have never had before but it made me grown. I have now more confidence and can face situations where I would have felt uncomfortable before. Besides this exchange was not only an incredible opportunity to study in a different environment that broadened my perspective on learning but also to meet interesting people, integrate societies and be part of a different culture. I will come back to my home country as a new person with countless memories and a true love for Ireland. My only regret is that I could not stay for the whole year. In a nutshell, I can definitely say that this experience has been "a great craic"!
