RANDOM THOUGHT – VOLUNTEERING IN SRI LANKA (TEMPLE RENIOVATION) BY XINRUI ZHANG

In Srilanka, the most significant skill I learnt is making friends. From the first day I arrived at Colombo Tharaka(my coordinator in Srilanka), let me know how to help others. He let me practice, feeling the process of making friends. At that moment I suddenly felt, knowing a person originally is such easy. Listening to the passers-by share stories with each other along the way, whether still separate or become friends, such can be seemed as the real meaning of travel.
