Oh UEA is Wonderful

UEA really is wonderful!! It is absolutely gorgeous and the people are so nice! It isn't a huge campus and everything is really easy to get to. There is even a bus stop on campus that goes to and from the city centre every ten minutes. There are multiple cafes and restaurants which are all really good and affordable. My personal favourite cafe is Kofra Coffee in the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. The coffee is delicious and the baristas will remember you if you visit at least a couple times! This is also a great place to study. Another great option is Unio because it is right in the centre of campus and next to the library! They have a ton of options and are super fast. Perfect for grabbing a coffee then heading to the library.
While here, I joined two clubs: The Concrete and The French Society of UEA. The Concrete is UEA's student-run newspaper. I helped with copy editing, but you can basically do anything for them. UEA's French Society is full of some of the sweetest people on campus. Each event feels like it goes really fast because they are all so relaxed. The best part is that they will not pressure you to speak in French unless you want to, and they always have a big smile on their faces when you attend an event! Plus there is usually bread and cheese :) I would definitely recommend joining a club or two. They do not meet all the time but are super fun when they do!
